Which social media platform should I choose for my business?
Digital marketing is an easy and affordable way to get in front of clients every day. Social media, in particular, humanizes your brand and allows customers to contact you more easily.
So if your business isn't on social media, it should be. Your competitors surely are, and you don't want potential customers finding them instead of you!
But which platform is best, and how often do you need to post?
If you want to keep things manageable, one to three platforms is usually recommended. If you're only going to choose one, Facebook is the best choice for client-facing businesses.
If you set up your page as a free business page - and you should - you'll have access to "insights", which will tell you the demographics of who your posts are reaching, and provide information on which posts are most effective.
If you decided to use paid ads, each click can cost as little as one cent! You can set daily or campaign limits to ensure that you never go over budget. And the ability to target your audience is incredible - do you want married men in their 50's who graduated from the University of Toronto but are living in New York City? Done!
And don't worry - you don't need to put a lot of time in to Facebook once your page is set up. Posting and reposting more than once a day may lead people to unlike your page, so aim for daily posts and watch your following grow!
